1-week Board and Train - Refresher
For dogs who have already been through training and just need a touch-up!
Service Description
A good foundation of obedience is required in order to enroll. One week will be dedicated to sharpening up existing skills, and/or correcting stubborn nuisance behaviors. This program can also be utilized for teaching brand new skills to enhance your dog's command roster for competitive sports or new outdoor activities, such as kayaking! All board and train programs include: Daily text updates on the dog's progress, and photos and videos of training lessons when possible. Every step of the training process is documented and thoroughly explained, so dog owners are not left in the dark! An extensive PDF document explaining the commands the dog learned, the training methods used, and appropriate use of tools and skills is emailed to the dog's owner upon completion of the boarding program. This document also provides my own behavioral evaluation of the dog and any specific information pertaining to the dog's progress and future goals. Owners may request to be present during training outings while the dog is in the program. All board and train programs end with a "go home session" that may last between one and two hours, as well as a one hour follow-up lesson to be used at any time.
